Every month, Readers’ Rigs proves there’s no one right way to travel Australia, and January’s lineup is no exception. From cosy creekside camps to big crossings and off-the-beaten track destinations, these entries show just how varied life on the road can be.

That’s what Readers’ Rigs is all about. It’s a chance to share the setup you travel with, the places it’s taken you and the moments that make the trip memorable — and maybe inspire a few new ideas for the next adventure too.

How to enter

Think your rig has what it takes to be featured in Caravan WorldSubmit your best travel photo (minimum 1MB) along with a description of your towing setup and where the photo was taken. The more detail you include, the more you’ll inspire us!

All entries received before 1 April 2026 go in the running for:

  • Monthly prize: Each month’s winner will receive a random Hema Maps Explorer Pack, featuring handy atlases, guide and region/state/territory maps, plus a fabric wallet to keep it all organised. Find out more about Hema Maps Explorer Packs here.

  • Readers’ Rig of the Year grand prize worth almost $3600, announced in May 2026

Photos may appear on the Caravan World website, socials and magazine.
