This month, Readers’ Rigs takes us from the Ningaloo Coast to NSW’s quirky roadside stops, across the Nullarbor and into outback Queensland, highlighting the incredible adventures our readers have been on.
Readers’ Rigs is our way of celebrating those journeys, showcasing your rigs and the memories you create along the way — and encouraging everyone to keep sharing their stories with us.

The November 2025 Readers’ Rigs winner
👑 Our November Readers’ Rigs winner is Ashley Pearce, who sent in this shot of their 2020 Toyota LandCruiser towing a 2024 Australian Offroad Matrix Pop Top.
“We were camping on the Ningaloo Coast at Winderabandi Point. The colours you see are exactly what you wake up to every day.”

November finalists
Col Rosa
Col captured this photo of their Ford Ranger and Newlands Luxe caravan on the way back from a Queensland–NSW trip.
“We stopped off at the Ettamogah Pub at Table Top, NSW. A great photo opportunity — the pub is very quirky, and there’s camping out the back with amazing views.”

James Povoy
James snapped this on a short trip to Toolangi, Vic, with his son Will, travelling in their Lifestyle Campers Reconn R4 SE and Land Rover Defender.
“We really enjoy being able to get away and spend time hiking, fishing and just hanging out together!”

John and Kathy Taylor
John and Kathy sent in this shot of their 2024 Nissan Warrior and Trakmaster Pilbara at the iconic Betoota Hotel during their recent 5600km Birdsville trip.

Shani Kirby
Shani took this photo while crossing the Nullarbor earlier this year in their Austrack caravan.
