REDARC has expanded its lithium battery offerings with the launch of REDARC Lithium Adventure Batteries (REDLAB) — a new series aimed at serious off-grid and 4x4 travellers. Built for tough conditions, these batteries are designed to deliver reliable power no matter where you travel.
Built for offroad endurance
The REDLAB Icon series is available in 100Ah, 200Ah and 300Ah models, all featuring IP67-rated construction, 100 per cent usable capacity and advanced safety systems certified to international standards. That means the batteries can handle dust, mud, water and vibration, making them suitable for extended trips in Australia’s harsh and varied environments — from Queensland’s rainforests to the rough tracks of the Red Centre.
The IP67 certification ensures the batteries are dust-tight and can withstand immersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes, ideal for creek crossings, desert tracks or corrugated roads.
REDLAB packs in a number of user-focused features:
- 6000+ charge cycles for long-term performance
- Built-in state of charge display so you can check your battery levels easily
- Series and parallel compatibility for flexible system expansion
- High continuous discharge capability to power heavy loads and high-demand inverters
- Heated battery management system (BMS) for cold-weather operation
- Integrated isolation switch for safer operation, transport, storage and servicing
- IEC 62619:2022 certification for independent safety verification

Power options to suit any setup
REDLAB batteries are designed to pair efficiently with REDARC’s pure sine wave inverters:
- Icon100 (100Ah): Best for compact setups and can run a 1000W inverter
- Icon200 (200Ah): For medium off-grid systems and running a 2000W inverter.
- Icon300 (300Ah): The biggest battery in the series and suited for high-demand applications, powering up to a 3000W inverter from a single battery.
These batteries are compact yet capable of high charge and discharge rates, making them well-suited to power-hungry off-grid setups.
Albert Atkins, product manager at REDARC Electronics, said: “With REDLAB, we heard the call for the latest in lithium battery development to be delivered by the same brand customers trust to power the rest of their system. That’s what drove the REDLAB project, expanding our range with the 100Ah, 200Ah and 300Ah REDLAB batteries. We pushed these batteries through some of the harshest testing in Australia to make sure they’re as tough, safe and as reliable as the REDARC name promises. Every REDLAB battery is built to earn that red top, when people see it, they know they can trust it.”
Various mounting brackets are also available to make installation easier.
Whether you’re creating the ultimate off-grid setup or simply need reliable power for weekend trips, the REDLAB Icon series is a great new contender to keep your adventures going.
