The new Arizon ModuFLEX 12/24V 400W Portable Solar offers a lightweight, foldable solar option for powering 12V and 24V setups on or off the grid.
Having a reliable source of solar power can make life on the road a lot easier — whether you’re set up at the caravan park or tucked well off the beaten track. Extra power means more time away from mains, and less stress about keeping batteries topped up.
And to help with that, Arizon Off-Grid has released the ModuFLEX 12/24V 400W Portable Solar, a foldable panel system designed to give travellers more freedom to generate their own power on the go.
Built with high-quality monocrystalline cells, the ModuFLEX delivers 400W of power, producing an open circuit voltage of 40.2V, a short circuit current of 12.1A, a maximum power voltage of 35.8V and a maximum power current of 11.3A. The panel is designed to handle temperatures from -20°C to 65°C.
Roy Ding, executive director of Arizon, said the design aims to provide a lightweight, durable solution for travellers looking to capture solar power on the go.
“What is unique about the Arizon ModuFLEX 400W portable solar is that it is suitable for both 12V and 24V systems and rated at IP68. This provides a fantastic power generating solution for those who are running either 12V or 24V power systems in their 4WD, work ute, camper trailer, caravan, motorhome, van or camping set-up.
“It also means that when someone decides to upgrade their 12V system to a 24V system, they can keep the Arizon ModuFLEX 400W portable solar to power their new system without the hassle of spending hundreds or thousands of dollars more on a new portable solar set-up.
“And weighing only 13.65kg and being foldable means it can be easily stored away when not being used. When matched together with the Arizon Off-Grid power control system and superior lithium batteries, adventurers can go off-grid when they want.”
The kit includes a heavy-duty carry case, support legs and the Arizon Gen 4 Intelligent MPPT Solar Charge Controller (waterproof with an IP67 rating).
