EASTER ACCOMMODATION STILL AVAILABLE IN VICTORIA

While this is always a busy period, the Victorian Caravan Parks Association (VicParks) says that, with over 380 caravan parks across the state, there is still plenty of accommodation available at parks in some great holiday destinations over Easter, plus even more availability in the second week of the school holidays.

There are dozens of great holiday destinations within just a few hours of Melbourne, perfect for showing your kids the magic of camping. And to help you out with your last minute holiday plans, VicParks has developed a list of parks statewide with last minute availability over the Easter long weekend and school holidays.

And if you’re not yet convinced, remember now is the perfect time to enjoy the last of the warm weather along Victoria’s stunning coastlines, while the mild autumn weather is also great for fishing, hiking, boating, golf and other outdoor activities in regional towns.

“There’s just nothing better than a caravan or camping holiday,” says Elizabeth White, VicParks CEO.

“Over 85 per cent of Australians have been on a caravanning or camping holiday at least once in their lives, and more than ever they are returning to share these wonderful experiences with their families,” Ms. White continues.
