Held on the iconic Mundi Mundi Plains, the Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash is Australia's biggest outback music event
Tickets for the 2025 Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash (21–23 August 2025) are on sale now. With the Birdsville Big Red Bash taking a break in 2025, this will be the only outback music Bash happening next year, so spots are expected to sell quickly.
The 2025 lineup includes multi-award winning and upcoming ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins, plus The Cat Empire, Birds of Tokyo, Hoodoo Gurus, The Angels, Kasey Chambers, Leo Sayer and Kate Ceberano, Shannon Noll, Chocolate Starfish, Thirsty Merc … the list goes on.
“Some of the biggest voices in Australian music will belt out classic Aussie anthems and hit songs on the Mundi Mundi Plains — it will be another epic and unique experience for our festivalgoers,” said Greg Donovan, festival owner, producer and managing director of the Outback Music Festival Group. “Last year we staged Australia’s biggest ever outback music event — and we’re hoping we’ll do it all over again in 2025.”
A whopping 14,000 people make the trek to the iconic Mundi Mundi Plains in 2024, and there was great fun enjoyed by all with not only fantastic music but also plenty of activities and entertainment on offer — much of which helps raise money for some great charity initiatives.
The 2024 Nutbush Dance World-record attempt raised $97,625 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)
The Mundi Mundi Bash is a great family-friendly event, and its location is ideal for those with limited outback driving experience as the entire road up to the event site on Belmont Station will be fully sealed by the time the 2025 event takes place (the final kilometres to be completed by the NSW Government before August).
“It may seem like a small thing, but we’re very excited about the last section of the road being sealed. It is only a few kilometres, but it will make access even easier than it already was and will allow vehicles to still enter the site if we happen to get some unseasonable rain. We’ve never had to deal with rain impacting access but it’s nice to know this work will further weatherproof the site given it’s one of the few variables we can’t control,” commented Greg Donovan.
