We’re in the thick of Big Bash season now, with the Birdsville Big Red Bash having taken place in early July and the Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash kicking off on 15 August. An exciting development for these two 2024 outback musical events is that INEOS Grenadier was announced as the official vehicle partner.

With the Big Red Bash (Australia's most remote music festival) over in a blaze — or splash — of glory, the INEOS Grenadier is now helping festival operations teams to tow vital gear out to the Mundi Mundi Plains at Silverton, outside Broken Hill in NSW. Once they arrive, the Grenadier 4x4 will be on display for 4WD enthusiasts and adventurers to admire. There’ll be test drives and vehicle demonstrations available as well.

The INEOS Grenadier is a unique 4x4 and was designed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe to perfectly combine top tier offroad capabilities with modern on-road driving refinement, ensuring owners can enjoy the best of both worlds. Justin Hocevar, the head of INEOS Automotive Asia Pacific commented, “The Grenadier has been built for those who choose to break free from the confines of digital devices and embrace what life has to offer in the great outdoors.

“We admire these festivals for creating unrivalled moments that bring together likeminded music and 4x4 enthusiasts, and these echo the Grenadier spirit.”

Greg Donovan, festival owner and managing director of the Outback Music Festival Group, was excited to welcome INEOS Automotive as the new sponsor and partner of both 2024 Bash events.

“It’s a great fit for our unique music festivals — and the Grenadier is literally going to help us get the events off the ground, towing some of our vital gear out to the remote Simpson Desert and then onto the iconic Mundi Mundi Plains,” he said. “Both of our Bash events will give INEOS’s customers, and potential new customers, the ultimate test drive playground. From the stunning landscape of the event sites to the pilgrimage to these distinctive Australian locations, it will be an unforgettable experience in a Grenadier.”
