Patriot Campers’ ST7 Supertourer is the brand’s largest trailer, offering dual-axle stability, offroad capability and flexible, comfortable living spaces.

Patriot Campers has introduced its newest and most innovative model yet, the ST7 Supertourer, and it represents a big shift for the Gold Coast-based manufacturer. At 6.35m (22ft 1in) long, 2.1m (6ft 10in) wide and 2.2m (7ft 2in) high, the ST7 is the brand’s largest trailer to date and a clear departure from the lightweight, compact campers that have defined Patriot and earned it seven Camper Trailer of the Year awards.

It’s also the company’s first dual-axle camper, offering extra stability, space and comfort for longer trips or family adventures.

Patriot has long had a loyal following of empty nesters and couples with older kids who favour its compact trailers and the flexibility such nimble offroaders offer. But for years, customers have asked when the company might build something bigger — and the answer had always been “never.” Until now.

Admitting the time might finally be right for a larger model, Patriot has proudly launched the ST7 Supertourer with a fully digital reveal (check out the video below). The ST7 blends rugged off-road capability with practical living spaces, giving owners a trailer that’s as comfortable for extended stays as it is capable on rough tracks.

Designed, engineered and built in Australia, the ST7 reflects the premium quality, durability and attention to detail that Patriot Campers is known for.

Dual-axle design for offroad confidence

The ST7 is Patriot’s first dual-axle model, offering added stability and traction over uneven terrain. Its in-house Trinamic suspension system keeps tyres firmly planted for precise handling on both sealed roads and rough tracks. Together, the dual axles and upgraded suspension ensure this larger Patriot remains stable when towing while living up to the brand’s offroad reputation.

Smarter electrical and power systems

For the first time in a Patriot, the ST7 features a Garmin-controlled electrical management system. A central touchscreen inside the trailer acts as a command centre, while a removable second screen can be used in the tow vehicle. Owners can easily monitor and control battery and solar systems, lighting, climate, airbag controls, water levels and more, making off-grid touring simple and reliable.

The camper is powered by a Victron system, including an impressive 920Ah lithium battery bank, 1200W of roof-mounted solar panels and a 3000W inverter for those power-hungry devices. A centralised service locker makes maintenance and monitoring straightforward.

Living spaces and flexibility

Inside, the ST7 delivers the premium finishes and thoughtful layouts Patriot is known for. The trailer features a pop-top roof, giving extra headroom and an open, airy feel when set up and rear door access.

The standard arrangement sleeps up to three people, with optional bunk layouts increasing capacity up to five. The interior includes a queen-size pocket spring bed, cafe-style seating and table, full-size bunks (including a ceiling-folding forward bunk) and an upright fridge.

The climate control system sits at floor level to maintain a stable centre of gravity when offroad, while clever storage and premium finishes throughout live up to Patriot’s reputation for thoughtful designs.

And a bonus for those wanting to upgrade from more traditional campers — the ST7 includes a compact bathroom with a shower and composting toilet (great for extended off-grid camping) that is kept dry by Patriot’s patented two-floor design.

Sticking to the outdoor-focused camper lifestyle, the ST7’s cooking is sorted with a slideout kitchen with a sink, fridge, pantry storage and prep spaces, with a barbecue slide up front.

For a touch of full-size caravan luxury and convenience, there even seems to be the option to have a front-loader washing machine in the front locker.

A nod to Patriot’s heritage

Patriot Campers has revived its ‘Patriot Green’ colourway for the ST7, linking the new model to the brand’s roots while complementing its modern design and materials.

For more than a decade, Patriot has championed building premium quality, lightweight, nimble and compact campers — a formula that has won it a loyal following and plenty of awards. With the ST7, the company takes that same attention to detail into a larger, feature-packed trailer, combining offroad capability, flexible living spaces and smart technology in a bigger footprint without compromising the engineering and quality that define the brand.

The ST7 Supertourer is available for pre-order now, starting at $224,900* AUD. For customers who have long been asking when Patriot would build a bigger model — this is it.

*Cost may vary due to optional inclusions.
