A New 4.5t ATM Flagship for Gold Class
The AC22C marks a deliberate step into new territory for Gold Class Caravans.
As the first Gold Class model developed in the 4.5t ATM category, the AC22C has been engineered to carry more, store more and support longer remote stays than anything previously released in the range.
The model features a hot dip galvanised chassis with heavy-duty black protective finish drawbar, Cruisemaster DO45 hitch, airbag suspension by Airbag Man with auto height control and wireless operation, Tuson asymmetric stability control, 12-inch electric brakes, electric stabiliser legs and polyurea coated laser cut alloy tank armour.
For real off-road conditions, the AC22C also includes 320L of freshwater capacity, a 120L grey water tank, 16-inch alloy wheels with mud terrain tyres, front mounted MAXTRAX recovery tracks, hot and cold external shower, rear service ladder and electric spare wheel unloader. The Gusto Dust Reduction System adds another practical layer of confidence for dusty tracks, gravel roads and remote-area travel.
This is a caravan built for customers who want to go further, stay away longer and travel with confidence beyond sealed-road comfort zones.
Serious Off-Grid Power
At the heart of the AC22C is the most substantial electrical system ever offered in a Gold Class Caravan, and one of the clearest demonstrations of what this 4.5t ATM platform makes possible.
The system is built around a massive 1380Ah Enerdrive lithium battery bank, supported by 2090W of rooftop solar and a 3000W Enerdrive inverter charger. An additional 30A of portable solar can also be connected into the system via the dedicated anderson solar inputs. This is not a token off-grid setup. It has been engineered to support serious remote travel, where power independence, appliance use and climate comfort all matter.
A standout feature is the AC22C’s electric roof-mounted sliding solar system, designed to maximise solar capacity without compromising the usable roof space required for other critical equipment. It is the kind of detail that reflects the thinking behind the entire model: intelligent packaging, high-capacity performance and real-world off-grid functionality.
Energy use is managed through Simarine monitoring, giving owners clear visibility over system performance, while three Enerdrive MPPT solar controllers help optimise charging from the extensive solar array.
Together, this electrical specification gives the AC22C the power foundation expected of a true flagship Adventure Class Caravan. It supports the way premium off-road travellers increasingly want to move: with greater energy independence, reduced reliance on powered sites and the confidence to operate modern appliances while away from mains power.
An Eberspächer D2L Airtronic diesel heater and Dometic FreshJet 7 Series Pro air conditioner, which runs completely off-grid, further support genuine all-season comfort.
Built Around How People Actually Travel
The AC22C is not simply about adding more equipment. It is about integrating the right equipment in the right places, so remote travel becomes easier, more practical and more comfortable.
One of the standout features is the external laundry, which includes an NCE 3kg wall-mounted washer/dryer, integrated external laundry bench and collapsible wall-mounted clothesline.
This feature has been designed for travellers who spend longer periods away, giving them a practical space to wash, sort and dry clothing without compromising the internal living area. It is a small detail with a big purpose, and it reflects the thinking behind the entire AC22C layout.
The AC22C also introduces a dedicated external integrated Entertainment Hub, complete with NCE Google Ready 40 inch TV, Dometic 60L compressor fridge, Fusion marine stereo with six-inch speakers, phone charging dock, RCA and HDMI points and 12V LED mood lighting.
Combined with the slide-out external kitchen featuring a Thetford three-burner gas cooktop and sink with hot and cold-water supply, the AC22C creates a genuine indoor-outdoor living experience at camp, wherever that may be.
More Cold Storage, More Camp Freedom
The AC22C has been designed for travellers who want to carry more, stay longer and spend more time outside the van once camp is set up.
Refrigeration has been significantly expanded, with a 224L internal Dometic dual door compressor fridge, 60L external Dometic compressor fridge and a dedicated fridge slide designed to suit a 95L portable fridge. This gives travellers multiple refrigeration zones, totalling nearly 380L across the caravan setup, supporting longer trips, remote camps and flexible outdoor living.
The broader external living specification includes an electric rollout awning, integrated picnic table, hot and cold external shower, LED lighting with yellow bug light function, external power outlets and Gold Class’s signature Elite Rear Storage Bar.
The AC22C has been designed to make camp feel organised, capable and ready for extended stays.

Inside, the AC22C has been designed to feel more like a high-end remote residence than a traditional off-road caravan.
The layout includes a queen island bed, large rear club lounge, electric lift table, full ensuite with separate shower and Dometic cassette toilet, matte cabinetry fascias, beige oak benchtops, satin black fixtures, Ebony leatherette upholstery, wireless charging pads and 12V LED mood lighting.
The kitchen specification reinforces the residential feel, with a Dometic two-zone induction cooktop, Thetford Duplex gas oven, NCE 23L flatbed microwave and Kleenmaid fully integrated dishwasher.
Two NCE Google Ready 28 inch TVs, Fusion panel stereo, three Caframo Sirocco II 12V fans and a Cowfish Cosmo Starlink Gen 3 power supply provide comfort, airflow and connectivity wherever the journey leads.
Every part of the layout has been considered around real-world use, from internal comfort and storage through to outdoor living, power management and long-stay practicality.
