Ford has confirmed the pricing for the upcoming 2026 Ranger Super Duty, set to arrive on Aussie shores early next year.

With a starting price of $82,990 (Manufacturer list price, plus on-road costs), this powerhouse cab-chassis range will initially be offered in single, super and double cab-chassis variants aimed at Aussies who need serious towing and payload capacity.

Positioned above the Ranger Sport and Wildtrak V6 ($66,690 and $73,590 respectively, plus on-roads), the Super Duty is shaping up to be a gamechanger for those who tow, with significant upgrades to support its 4500kg braked tow capacity and 4500kg gross vehicle mass ratings.

Final drive-away costs will depend on tray choice, accessories and dealer location. Ford offers several tray options — galvanised steel, matte black and body-colour finishes — fitted through participating dealerships.

Double Cab-Chassis

With a Double Cab-Chassis and premium tray fitted, buyers could be looking at around $98,000 before on-road costs.

Adding the cost of trays brings the total price roughly in line with, or just a bit above, our earlier estimates for the single cab ($85,000–$90,000). For the double cab, the combined price comes in just under our previous $95,000–$100,000 range, placing the Super Duty in a very nice spot for those after an offroad and tow-ready vehicle.

What the Ranger Super Duty offers

We’ve discussed the capabilities of the Ranger Super Duty previously (click here or watch the video below) — but here's a quick recap.

Built for heavy loads

The Ranger Super Duty is powered by the tried-and-tested 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel found in other Ranger models, producing 154kW at 3250rpm and 600Nm of torque at 1750rpm. The engine has been recalibrated to meet Euro VI heavy-duty vehicle emissions standards, including AdBlue, and it features an upgraded cooling system that is 25 per cent more efficient than previous Ranger models.

Upgrades to axles, chassis and suspension support increased payload and towing. Practical features include an integrated device mount and on-board load scales.
