Smarter, safer towing is something we love here at Caravan World, and some good news for those who tow is that REDARC Electronics has expanded its Tow-Pro Link Electric Brake Controller.
Launched earlier this year, the system is designed to enhance towing safety, and it has recently gained Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, bringing towing controls onto your vehicle’s existing infotainment screen.
About the Tow-Pro Link
The Tow-Pro Link has already made its mark for reliable, user-friendly towing. Its key features include SwayStop Plus, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB-powered remote head and a compact, rugged design built to withstand Australia’s tough and diverse conditions. Mounted discreetly near the towbar, it uses a six-axis braking sensor, dual braking modes and automatic sway recovery to deliver advanced control for a range of towing scenarios.
With the new infotainment integration, drivers can access Tow-Pro Link settings alongside other familiar CarPlay or Android Auto apps. REDARC Tow-Pro product manager Jaidan Watson said: “Our customers told us they want towing control to feel more intuitive. Connecting the Tow-Pro Link with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto makes it feel like it was built into the vehicle from the factory, while enhancing the simplicity and safety that define Tow-Pro.”

Physical controls remain critical
REDARC stresses that emergency braking and SwayStop Plus must still be operated via the physical remote head. In critical moments, having a control you can reach instinctively is essential, and touchscreen overrides are not a replacement for this safety function.
From caravanning through the Red Centre, to your favourite holiday park, or tackling challenging offroad tracks, the Tow-Pro Link is designed to deliver reliable safety and control in every towing situation — now with a more seamless, in-dash experience.
