The screen features a sewn-in rope track so you can easily connect to the barrel of your awning. Then simply secure the screen to the ground using the D-Ring tie points to provide protection and privacy without loss of ventilation. I had my doubts about the claims CGear made of the Multimat but after three days on Noosa North Shore in Queensland shooting a range of reviews, what impressed me most was the CGear L-shaped Multimat we had around the camper we were using as a mothership.
I was so impressed I ordered one for taking to the beaches of Exmouth, WA, a week later. There and in Noosa, the Multimat did exactly what was expected of it. Dry sand would filter down through the mat meaning our feet were mostly sand-free getting in and out of our tents, motorhome and camper. It is a must-have for anyone planning on beach camping and one of the first things I'll grab when heading to the beach this summer.
