Rivershore Resort opens on Sunshine Coast

Overlooking the Maroochy River, the resort, which is a member of the BIG4 holiday park group, features 80 spacious camping and caravan sites, 13 king safari tents and two family safari tents for those who prefer the ‘glamping’ lifestyle.
Rivershore Resort co-owner Bernie McGovern said the park, which is a family venture, was the first new the first new camping park in south-east Queensland since the late 1970s.
“We are thrilled to open our doors to Australian travellers,” Bernie said. “Rivershore has a truly unique offering with modern facilities that are exceptionally styled and a variety of accommodation options, that we believe, will appeal to all travellers.”
The park has a range of activities for visitors including a café/restaurant, bar, large heated pool, two waterslides, spacious picnic areas, a mini-golf course, kayak/canoe hire, and bike hire.
The park is just minutes from downtown Maroochydore and safe, patrolled swimming beaches.
Rivershore Resort is a family venture shared between Bernie and his two sons.
