NEWS: COUNTRY LIFE CARAVANS NEW VIC DEALERSHIP
Last month, caravan manufacturer Country Life Caravans opened its first dealership, at Bell Street in Heidelberg Heights, Vic. The new dealership, now in full swing, sells Country Life caravans, vans by the recently revitalised Roadstar and by Option RV, and a range of compact, hard-wall, pop-top Hi-Lo trailers.
“I’ve been watching Roadstar redevelop with great interest,” admits owner Terry Ryan. “And Option RV is a great family business that makes a really nice caravan, too.”
The dealership has an asphalt yard, and a small, glass showroom large enough for two to three vans. It’s located on Bell Street, opposite Evernew Caravans.
Terry has had a long history in the RV industry.
“I started working in the industry in the early 80s, and then I started building camper trailers and offroad caravans under the Koala and Bushmaster brands. I moved down here two years ago, and bought the factory [now Country Life] in Campbellfield,” Terry said.
