FOUR NEW PARKS FOR BIG4
The new BIG4 parks are Byron Holiday Park, NSW, BIG4 Albury Tourist Park, NSW, BIG4 Mackay Blacks Beach Holiday Park, Qld, and the new Rivershore Resort in Maroochydore, Qld.
BYRON HOLIDAY PARK
Adjacent to Arakwal National Park, Byron Holiday Park spans 28 acres, is five minutes from the heart of Byron Bay and features bike hire, swimming pool and even a chook house, where kids can collect eggs.
“Byron Holiday Park has direct access to beautiful Tallow Beach via our beach track, and our facilities compliment what’s available in and around Byron Bay,” park manager Gerald Searle said.
BIG4 ALBURY TOURIST PARK
The BIG4 Albury Tourist Park is the closest tourist park to Albury’s CBD, and features pool, barbecue area, a range of cabin types and powered caravan sites.
“We have beautiful parklands hugging the riverbanks, which make great places for picnics, swimming and canoeing, as well as cycling trails along the banks,” park manager Craig Richardson said.
BIG4 MACKAY BLACKS BEACH HOLIDAY PARK
BIG4 Mackay Blacks Beach Holiday Park has an absolute beachfront location, overlooking the southern islands of the Whitsundays. With new villa-style one and two-bedroom accommodation as well as 87 caravan sites across the park’s five beachfront acres, the park offers a range of options for travellers.
“Our guests love to try beach fishing, taking a stroll on the untouched sands of Black Beach, or generally relaxing and unwinding,” hosts Michelle and John Young said.
RIVERSHORE RESORT
Due to open in Maroochydore in August, Rivershore Resort will be south-east Queensland’s newest BIG4, featuring 70 spacious camping/caravan sites, 15 luxury safari tents and a fully licensed restaurant and bar.
“We are pleased to offer modern facilities without skimping on style to all our guests with our jewel being an amazing resort-style pool; inclusive with lap lane and two water slides. Our prime location on the Maroochy River front and abundance of leisure activities will ensure we appeal to holidaymakers Australia wide,” co-owner Bernie McGovern said.
The resort will also have extra-large, all-grass camping sites.
