CB made easy

Icom has released a dash-mounted IC-440 UHF CB mobile radio based on its popular hand-held radio, the IC-41S. The IC-440’s controller mic fits to a variety of dashes, has a built-in speaker, a backlit keypad and display and large, clearly labelled keys.

The unit automatically selects between 12 and 24V and has Icom’s own repeater scan that searches for repeater stations in an effort to increase your range. It also features Silent Standby, which filters out unwanted messages so that you receive only those from your nominated group.
