Nissan’s updated 2025 Patrol touched down in Australia in April, bringing updated interior technology and comfort features, while continuing with its familiar V8 powertrain and 3500kg braked towing capacity, perfect for those who tow.
The key changes for the MY25 Patrol lie in the cabin. Two new interior trim options are now available: a black leather-accented design and a chestnut colour scheme that includes quilted seat upholstery and woodgrain-style dash and door finishes. These changes aim to lift the interior to match current expectations for large SUVs.
A premium 12.3in central infotainment screen is now standard, offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, built-in navigation and touchscreen and steering wheel controls. Complementing this is a new 7in TFT Driver Display Dash that is fully customisable and displays key driving and navigation information. The TFT Driver Display Dash also functions as an Off-Road Monitor to give a view of what’s happening with the vehicle when offroad or on uneven terrain.
Upgraded tech and interior on the MY25 Nissan Patrol range
The new TFT screen doubles as an Off-Road Monitor
The above is all standard in the Patrol Ti, but the flagship Ti-L grade delivers even more, with features such as a BOSE® 13-speaker audio system, digital high-definition Intelligent Rear View Mirror and centre console cool box.
These upgrades join the Patrol’s proven powertrain with its 5.6L V8 petrol engine that produces 298kW at 5800rpm and 560Nm at 4000rpm. The system is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and Adaptive Shift Control plus Intelligent 4WD with electronic 4WD selection. The Patrol retains its 3500kg braked towing capacity — a key figure for readers towing larger caravans —and a reputation for stability under load.
The exterior colour range has been adjusted, with Desert Red Metallic added to the lineup alongside Gun Metallic, Moonstone White, Brilliant Silver and Black Obsidian.
The MY25 Patrol Warrior comes fitted with black side steps
The locally developed Patrol Warrior by Premcar also benefits from the 2025 upgrades and now comes fitted with black side steps as standard.
All Patrol grades continue to be covered by Nissan’s 10-year/300,000km warranty when serviced through its dealer network.
